Fiddled some more [with some wonderful input from the lovely Vania] and I have decided to stay with the line art because, and I quote, "every time I try to colour it, I turn out a different nationality... at some point I looked like Miranda Kerr which was slightly flattering, but in the next one I looked like a geisha"
