Markus Pritzi Photography and Ramblings.

Photobucket

I'm acquiring a serious list of favourite photographers that I'm going to have to check up on at least once a month... with a fine toothed comb. Newest addition: Markus Pritzi.

I know I've just been posting pictures lately, so here's a bit on my day. For once.

Tomorrow's the first day of Summer en Australie, and just this afternoon, it started bucketing rain. Yeah. That's Down Under for you. There goes my theory of 45 Celcius February. Instead, we'll have a rainy Christmas, a rainy New Year, and a replay of this year's Australia Day. Which was rainy. And something about a banana leaf.

On that note, I don't know what I'm doing for NYE yet. In fact, I don't even know what I'm doing for Christmas. In fact, I should probably organise something because there was talk of going to Melbourne which managed to disappear and never come up again.

Now I'm rambling. What are y'all doing this Festive Season?

Insolent little child.

Photobucket

The power of VooDoo. Who do? You do. Do what? Remind me of a babe.

Sugar and Spice and Anything Shiny.

I felt the need to share the absolute elegance of Kenneth Jay Lane's designs. :)

Concept beyond me. Part huit.

Photobucket

I'm actually pretty intrigued as to how they managed this shot. It's either very well photoshopped... or the poor model was terrified.

Only in Paris.

Photobucket

I've taken some joy in turning pictures sideways. Gives it a whole new twist.

She who has mastered movement.

And has ridiculously long and skinny legs.

That's the life.

Sarah Rhoads' photography is teetering on the edge of incredibility.

Pause for effect and ease on down the road.

It's those incredible tights again! I want. I want.

Some more news: on the way home from my violin exam today, Mum and I stopped over for some window shopping. That beautiful navy blazer with gold buttons I blogged about weeks ago was marked down - with nobody having bought the stock at ALL. So, I might just wait a while and get a very valuable buy :)

Polaroid.

Is it conceptually correct to be obsessed with spontaneity?

Why so deadly?

Je pense que:

Socks and Sandals, Gramps.

Well for starters, duh the killed wedge heels are amazing. But second: what do we all think of the socks and sandals trend? It wasn't just Christian Dior this fashion week season - it was also Burberry Prorsum and a few others that pulled different styles of socks and outrageous heels. I'd be interested to try it.

I think it's a bit hard for anybody to realise how much I love that first dress. Graded stripes, navy, white, gold buttons. Doesn't get much better than that :) For all of you who enjoy it them just as much, go shopping at Sportsgirl.

Gemini.

Such casually, intensely, glamorously simple beauty.

2009 Aria Awards.

Absolute favourites from last night's red carpet.

Must be something in the air.

Photobucket

I've only just noticed my slight fetish for heavily encrusted/shiny things and dramatic eye make up... as of late.

Yeah, she's a biker princess.

Hardcore jewellery... in every possible sense of both the words. Snaps to Donna Karan for this little Miss Pretty Edgy leather cuff.

Shoe swap.

Photobucket

Sweet. One of these days, I'll just be walking along and spontaneously swap shoes with a fellow size-8-er.

A streetcar to Armani.

What's there not to love about any of the above :)

G-L-A-M-O-U-R OUS.

I still haven't tried harem pants. Nor did i ever try untinted glasses. You really need to keep reminding me of these things.

Heat Exhaustion and Street Style.

Photobucket
This is kind of what I feel like... despite the now swaying heat.

I've been getting some emails about my lack of outfit posts as of late - totally agree. I am, in fact, lacking a camera that doesn't decide to explode on me every so often... but as I said, fingers are crossed that I'm getting a DSLR very, very soon. But if not, I can use the KODAK once Dad hurries up about getting home from overseas.

You are a bag of oranges with broadening horizons.

Photobucket

Bleak humour.

PhotobucketPhotobucket

I don't know what it is about this whole ensemble that makes it so strangely attractive. I tried blocking out the model's face, and I still found the whole thing so quirky and fun. It's grey. I don't understand how it works. But it does.
