The back of your head is ridiculous.

Raw Swimwear 101031-2725

And so it begins. Fueling the happy smiles of you Northern-Hemispherers who are starting to bare legs and tums and bottled tans, and lamenting Sydney's tragic descent into sporadic rain (I assure you, I'll shut up as soon as the sun comes back and I can wear pretty coats without hiding under ugly umbrellas... and god forbid, PVC raincoats). I posted my favourite Luca bikini last week, and you all seemed to enjoy the awesome double straps and stripes as much as I did. SO I thought I'd share some of my other keep-in-mind-for-next-Summer pieces from the fantastic collection.

I have to say, I never used to like the fine line between swimwear and underwear (I've always been a bit awkward like that), but the pretty red baby below is definitely a winner. Clearly, I'm very much into all things fitted... and posessing seams, at the momento.

Be sure to check out the rest of the Luca collection right HERE (and maybe even frolick on Venice beach in one... you lucky LA dwellers...)

Luca Luca Bikini - Vintage Wrap/Blanket/Happy-Fringes

Now that I've started to pull out the knits and layers (thought I'm not quite up to wearing tights), and it's dark when I wake up (which sucks), I'm dreaming of Summer. Once again. I'm feeling some déjà vu - I may or may not say this every year.

This super sweet Luca Luca bikini came to be my favourite beaching-swimming-go-to over the course of Summer. I went shark-net frolicking in it at Law camp over the weekend and very nearly froze to death - oh what I would give to be in St Tropez for the rest of the year :)

Aside from the obvious comfort factor (the fit is really quite glove-like), I do enjoy the double straps against the almost optical-illusion-esque stripes. Though you might not expect it, I think I'll definitely be using this baby for layering purposes during Winter too (I'm understocked on Winter clothes so I'm thinking up methods to conserve body heat).

I have my eye on the rest of this particular Luca Luca collection too - some of those bandeaus look insanely comfortable!

P.S. I completely forgot to announce the winner for the La Dama giveaway! Congrats to:

Every so often I come across a collection where I prefer the backs of most of the pieces to the front - Luca Luca was one of them. :)

Thoughts?
