So before I show you my favourite photos, I just want to note that Pakistan Fashion Week has, in fact, had a few false starts, fear of militant violence and upheaval - and yet, they've soldiered on to produce one of the most exotic, intriguing and futuristic Fashion Weeks this year, which is nothing short of incredible.
But this, I have to say, is my favourite photograph of all the 2009 Fashion Weeks (and believe me I have gone through every single one with a finetoothed comb):
I'm sorry, Givenchy, but you just got out-Givenchy-ed.
