Emanuela de Paula, Lindsay Ellingson, Candice Swanepoel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Chanel Iman are the newest additions to that rather impressive group of Victoria's Secret Angels. Personally, I quite like seeing Chanel on those high fashion runways.

Oh well. Lingerie and giant wings can't hurt.

So, the Annual CDFA Fashion Fund has come around once again, and Vogue just released its 10 finalists. I'll be interested to see who comes out on top and if they tear up the fashion world... somehow, I feel like I'm watching Top Model in HD.

Pat McGrath and Julien d'Ys worked at John Galliano to give every single model a unique look that was theatrically linked to their ensemble - it clearly worked. What I want to know is how the set crew managed to get all the bubbles in check :)

Burberry Prorsum mastered combinations of details and fabrics, I'll say. And cheekbones :) musn't forget the cheekbones. One thing though: it struck me as an uncanny combination of Balmain and Versace.

J'adore.

I think it necessary to have a rave about the Dior collection. So, not only was the show opened by Karlie Kloss with her classic face on which the red lips (AAH) looked amazing... followed closely by Abbey Lee, but from the beginning, the hair was a statement, the sparkle-mesh socks under platforms was a statement, and there was an established thread of cuts and pairings of fabrics that were suitably... pow? with every single ensemble that walked the runway. And even in that, there was such a range of styles that would appeal to so many different age-groups and fashion-followings, but still maintaining that level of Dior sophistication.
