Pre-Fall 2010.

I've decided to do just one massive post on my favourite Pre-Fall collections so far. And there's a fair few. Enjoy :)

So first, we have the lovely Zac Posen with the signature red lips and preschooler-meets-fashionable-old-Parisian-lady. Mia Rossing got a fairly good run.

I cannot even begin to tell you how obsessed I am with the Alexander Wang collection. For starters, Liu Wen is so beautiful. Second, I don't think black has ever looked so interesting and wearable. Giles-Deacon-esque sunnies?

Burberry Prorsum: SHOES. And ruffles.

Tango-inspired Carolina Herrera gave, I think, Zac Posen a good run for his money. Patterns were very original and rather authentic. Cuts were a bit reminiscent of last season's Thakoon and Zac Posen again.

Diane Von Furstenberg was very let's-style-stalk-all-the-capital-cities-of-the-world-and-smoosh-them-into-one-outfit-twenty-four-times. I like. :)

The neckplate in every second outfit from Elie Tahari was my life for the 5 mintues it took to flick through the collection. The target audience was obviously a bit older, and more professional, but I wouldn't mind owning the jewellery, the bags and the shoes. And the foil-print dress.

Michael Kors reminded me of Victoria Beckham - not the label: the Queen VB herself with her outrageous coffee break outfits. Loved the waist-zippers though.

The cape from the Narciso Rodriguez (below) has sparked a slight liking for the top-heavy jacket thing happening this Pre-Fall. Not on me though... I'd tip over sideways :)

And now, we finish with "young, confident and drop-dead sexy" inspired, apparently, by night-lights of Tokyo. My head says that it won't be long before those bodycons hit Red Carpets.

Again: SHOES.

Alors, ceci conclut la liste de préférés de Pre-Fall 2010.

A beau jour.

*love*
