Mister Zimi Leather Jacket - Vintage Chiffon Skirt - Yves Saint Laurent Vibrant Brown Lipstick from YesStyle.com

In my haste to get through my uni week (so the exciting projects starting at the end will get here faster), I completely forgot to share snaps of what I wore to the FOREVER NEW Spring Launch last week. I don't think the leather-chiffon combination will ever fail me - neither will the fantastic colour of this Mister Zimi jacket and the eternal vibrancy of my favourite vintage skirt. I've said it 500 times and I'l make it 1000 - best spent $7 of my life. And thank you dear Jasmin for taking these for me!

How has everyone's week been so far? Not going to lie - I feel like my eyes are about to fall out (classy). Definitely skipping my usual morning run tomorrow!

Having said that, I have a lot of exciting things coming up to share with you all! Stay tuned here, on Facebook and on Twitter.

Where Couture Meets The Cure.

I've been meaning to share this for quite some time, but (as life would have it with pretty much everything) never quite got around to it. My lovely friend (the pretty Miss Nat Archer - aforeseen megababe) and a group of equally dedicated and beautiful girls have been working insanely hard to bring you 'Where Couture Meets The Cure' to raise funds for The Australian Cancer Research Foundation, for which every dollar donated will go directly towards cancer research. With some of Australia's leading designers on board (including Alex Perry, Carla Zampatti, Camilla and Jayson Brunsdon), the show is undoubtedly going to be every form of brilliance - and, more importantly, with a wonderful cause backing it.

So, if you haven't already, be sure to check out more details on the event right HERE - get in quick and book your tickets before the night rolls around on September 28 (faster than you think, grasshoppers... faster than you think).

P.S. Might I add that I'm dying for Dress 1.

As promised, here are more photos from my Thursday evening in Melbourne. I cannot even begin to describe the withdrawal symptoms - Melbourne is such a beautiful city (with beautiful people) and I will definitely have to sneakily make my way back down there in the near future - and this time, explore all the back lanes!

What is everybody up to this weekend?

FOREVER NEW: Spring Collections 2011.

Last night I had the absolute pleasure of attending and experiencing FOREVER NEW's stunning launch of their Spring Collections in Melbourne. The reason I say 'experience' is not just for the absolutely magical setting of the Regent Theatre Plaza Ballroom (though it's true that I could not stop staring), but for the impeccably choreographed and dramaticised display of each collection. The absence of blank-faced, robotic models was certainly refreshing and spoke volumes for the label's support for young, creative talent - 14-year-old McKenzie Comer's performance was charming in every adorable sense of the word.

While it was fairly inevitable that I would gush over the delicately embellished flapper-esque dresses, I never thought I would find myself wishing I had a week's worth of races to go to just so I could wear a different one of the mesmerising fascinators each day. Nobody present took any precaution in masking each's awe of the finale dresses and/or Dutch beauty, Milou Sluis - yes, she took every shade of silk, chiffon, simplicity and extravagance to the next level (yes, it's a bit unfair).

Interestingly, my personal favourite look of the night was the stunning oriental print shift with that fantastic fan clutch (the fascinator may or may not have played a significant part in this verdict).

I'm currently pulling together a bit of a video of the show for you all, but in the mean time, check out some of the pieces that have already landed at the FOREVER NEW online store HERE.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to AMPR and FOREVER NEW for having me down for the launch - it was so lovely to finally meet you all and it couldn't have been a more beautiful put-together show!
