Keeping up.

I had a whole lot of unshared Pre-fall collections lurking on my desktop that I hadn't posted yet *gasp shock horror* So now you get to enjoy them :)

Balenciaga: the most perfect shade of yellow of all time (on the most perfect coat of all time). I also rather enjoyed the cut of the skirts, and the (bee-keeper's) gloves.

ADAM may as well take any of my future life savings and give me blazers in return... because we all know about my continuously unsuccessful hunts for blazers. So as much as we all love Adam Lippe for his jewel-tone slouch tees, I do appreciate bubble skirts, dresses with pockets... and blazers.

Thank you Giorgio Armani for not directing models to look like they are standing in Aisle 4 of Walmart... on a shelf :) Amazing cuts and gloves. I'm also sure that the models appreciate the break from outrageous footwear.

Just two for Cavalli because otherwise I'd have to post the entire collection and you'd all die of awesome:

Louis Vuitton - I swear you stole the felt-marker-esque outlined-creases idea from a Daphne Guiness editorial from last year! Or maybe you styled that shoot - I don't know. But if it was a sneaky reference, then I saw it (and like it very much)

And finally:

Dearest Lanvin,

Please reconstruct your amazing set in the corner of my bedroom. You may leave the furs, gloves, hooded cloaks, boots, tights and headscarves by the door, as well as an explanation as to why Elsa Sylvan is so very amazing.

Best Regards,

Margaret Zhang.

:)

*love*
