I'd never even thought about printed quilting until CCKUO popped up on my designer-hunting radar. CC's mastery of colour-blocking just as much as print-blocking in this satisfyingly coherent AW11 collection does wonders in complementing the simpler facets of tailoring. I love that each piece takes tiny details from the last in jewel tones or knits, and yes I would wear that black leather quilted dress for the rest of my life given the opportunity. It's like everything badass about a shift dress, a leather jacket, a Chanel clutch and Emmanuelle Alt rolled into one.
Be sure to check out the rest of the collection right HERE.
I'm going to have to blog the SS11 collection soon as well - definitely has flattering tailored details down pat.

The blue printed quilting is beautiful. I love the dimension it gives the piece and combination of blue and black shades.
