DITA Eyewear x Shine By Three.

IMG_8427

Those of you who've been wandering these areas for a while, you'll remember that I shot and styled DITA Eyewear's latest collection of sunglasses and opticals towards the end of last year (be sure to check out my behind-the-scenes video HERE if you haven't already - best day: I do like to relive it from time to time).

I'm so excited to be able to share these final shots with you all (at long last) and I do hope you enjoy them! DITA glasses lent themselves so well to the insane warehouse, my bizarre ideas and stunning models Victoria Halkeas and Beatrice McBride.

It's such an honour to work with such a wonderful label in eyewear that I really believe in (as well as having a ridiculous following in the likes of Brad Pitt, Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson, Lenny Kravitz, Eva Mendez, Dita Von Teese... and it goes on). As you can probably tell by my Fashion Week eyewear adventures, I'm definitely a fan of the new collection (which has the most wonderful shapes to suit the widest range of faces).

A huge thanks also to the wonderful ladies of Bespoke PR! Much love your way.

P.S. Thank you all for your sweet well wishes for a now 2-yr-old blog :) So much love your way. Have a fantastic (and safe) weekend!

DITA New Yorker Sunnies - None The Richer Sequins/Studs Blazer - Rachel Gilbert RTW Distressed Knit Pants - Therapy Shoes Delush Nubuck Pumps in Nude -

So Blogger had a bit of a brain-explosion and has 'temporarily' removed my last LOVER post, but it should, apparently, be back up before the weekend is out. If not, I'll just post it again :) But today, here is what I wore on Day 3 at RAFW.

Why yes, it was slightly awkward walking through uni at midday for a law tute (after which I sprinted for the bus back to Circular Quay in these colossal Therapy heels), but I have to say the fact that an tourist from the states stopped me on my way to a show and asked if my jacket (None The Richer needs a medal for this baby) had attacked my pants (Rachel Gilbert needs to do more RTW!), definitely made it worth it.

Wow that was a long sentence.

Thank you so much to Chanelle for snapping these for me! My dad has requested a credit for this shirt of his (I have informed him that I'll be stealing it permanently).

And a few extras:

1) Shot by GRAZIA for their streetstyle happy snaps of RAFW:

2) being snapped by Mr Yvan Rodic + the final shot (is it silly of me to be excited that I'm in the same post as Christine Centenera...):

Some non-RAFW business to come very very soon - I know you're all sick of it (and I'm just reminiscing now with trillions of photos... show by show, friends. Show by show).

DITA Clear Frames - RIMMEL London Lipstick - Events Blazer - Vintage Blouse - LadyLovesGreen Leather trousers - Therapy Tower Heels in Taupe - Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch

It was an absolute pleasure to meet the sweet and ever boldly style-comfortable Susie Bubble over the entirety of RAFW. I'm always so terribly dorky (and ever so slightly starstruck) with people I look up to, but it was so lovely to have quick chats here and there with Susie (who was running around OPT like a crazy lady all week!) and seeing her views and approaches to designers and style is a mishmash of art and creativity in action.

This snap was after Sara Phillips SS11/12 (of which I'll have snaps up soon), and conveniently, here are some quick shots of what I wore that day.

These leather pants (from fantasitc Etsy seller LadyLovesGreen) were a perfect fit, a perfect colour, perfect warmth for a bit of a windy day, and so perfectly timed (thank you Ruth!) that it wasn't even funny. I quite enjoy the leather-on-leather that's going on with my infallible Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch, and combined with these perfect Therapy block heels (which were definitely my favourite Therapy shoe of the week), drew almost as much attention as wonderfully geeky clear frames and BAM lips. I'm all about a block heel at the moment, and taupe suede is definitely the right way to do it.

The equally sweet and humble Phil Oh (Mr Streetpeeper) also snapped me in that ensemble earlier that morning for Harper's Bazaar's coverage of RAFW:

Thank you all for bearing with me on the blogging! Getting back into the Uni rhythm has definitely been a bit of a rocky road. I promise to get back onto all your emails and questions and sweet comments super soon!

DITA: Behind the Scenes.

I hope my two days of blog-absence is now worth it! Last week I had the absolute pleasure of shooting DITA's new collection of eyewear with the beautiful Victoria Halkeas and Bea McBride. As I've already raved about, the warehouse was absolutely amazing - I wish I were there daily to take amazingly lit photos at the millions of different windows! Final shots will surface in due time, but I thought it would be fun to pull together some of the footage that Katie filmed for your enjoyment :)

Let me know what you think!

And follow on Twitter and Bloglovin' if you're happy and you know it.

DITA Lavish - LimeCrime Cosmopop Lipstick - DITA Corsica

I shot these yesterday afternoon when it was too painfully hot to do anything remotely productive and I had finally come to terms with the fact that I was coming down with something of a head cold. With the rain today, It's a lot easier to feel sorry for myself, but yesterday DITA eyewear was required as a visual distraction.

Not too difficult - the DITAs are so pretty and comfortable to wear and/or look at.

I've never really thought about the quality of sunglasses but it's fairly obvious when you look at these. Sort of like my encounter with cheap corner-store pasta that boiled down to cardboard in Paris. Who knew there were grades of pasta? Opposite revelation for DITAs - I finally understand the different grades of eyewear :)

P.S. I completely forgot to announce the winner of the Chip Chop Giveaway! And our lucky winner of the super awesome tank is...

Congrats lovely! And as always, I have another giveaway for you all tomorrow :) So fret not!

P.P.S. Who feels like keeping up on Twitter? And Bloglovin' for that matter.
