Barely there.

Barely there

From left to right: Agent99 Necklace Scarf - Dannijo Jacinda Silver-plated Ring - Basic Black Rosary - Marcus Lupfer Sheer Beaded Leggings - Ray-Ban Large Wayfarer Acetate Sunglasses - Kimberly Ovitz Lester Faux-suede Crochet-knit Sweater - Givenchy Ruched Leather Wedge Sandals - Stella McCartney Dolly Snogging Lace Bra - Donna Karan The Eldrige 4 in 1 Leather Bag - Yves Saint Laurent New Arty Necklace

My this-Winter fetish for open-weave knits is no secret. I am obsessed with the idea of throwing one over anything pretty, basic, vintage, overdressed or less-than-decent, and then accessorising to the living hell and back with no clue for what exactly I'm doing (aside from the splash of colour).

But: Kimberly Ovitz's price impracticalities aside, I'm opting for this, this, and this - I have to say, that last Wrangler one is giving me so much grief... get that one or potentially get both the others? This is ridiculously difficult. Thoughts?

Hope everyone's having a good weekend! Lots of exciting things to come this week :) and when I say exciting... I'm talking exciting.

Pre-Fall 2010. Part Trois.

I only realised now that more Pre-Fall collections have been realised while I've been running around like a wild child doing other things. So here we go (another big post):

Devi Kroell: a bit Great Depression, a bit contemporary interpretive dancer, a bit the-background-is-so-dark-that-I-can't-tell-if-they're-pants-or-a-dress. :)

Donna Karan was inspired by Autumn leaves in Central Park, and peacocks. I rather like the jersey gowns.

Doo.Ri did a bit of a flipside to what every other designer is doing (the seasonless garment thing). Doo-Ri Chung wanted to "hash... out what would work for Fall"... which I suppose makes sense. The results were rather pleasing :) and SHOES.

J. Mendel was surely designed for parties and red carpets, though if anything had to be, my favourite would be the make up... and I have finally noticed the similarity of shoes by all designers this fall: platform leather ankle boots :) I want.

And speaking of ankle boots... oh-oh would you look at that :) Pringle of Scotland loves them too - only they are slightly cooler than all others. I think they're the only designer who's done something with knits. And I like it.

"Moroccan Military," says Rachel Roy. All I care about is how much I want to marry that floral print.

I love the way Rag & Bone has photographed its collection: the lighting and the way the clothing complements the set (should be the other way around, huh) is so perfect and edgy. Karolin Wolter is also nothing short of gorgeous.

And as this post has gotten slightly long, I think I might save the rest for later - because it really is worth saving.

Today's weather is a lot more tolerable than yesterday's - actually, it's rather miserable. Just as well, I'm stuck inside. The frangipanis across the street have started blooming, which makes me smile, and as soon as the rain goes away, they will smell amazing :)

Hardcore jewellery... in every possible sense of both the words. Snaps to Donna Karan for this little Miss Pretty Edgy leather cuff.

Pin me up.

I found this while poking around for nice bodysuits... because I still haven't tried them. I love this kind of photography - what cameras can get that quality now??

Also... is that Paulina on the right?

My New York Romance. Part deux.

Donna Karan just released some incredible bags and accessoires.

Just so happens I'm (window) shopping for a new bag.
