Dream state.

I'm currently battling fairly hard to keep my eyes open while trying to figure out hypergeometric probability - gotta love that. Clearly exhaustion and statistics don't go. Easter break, where are you? Having said that, here are the three pretty shots that are keeping me somewhat sane - three ensembles, the concepts of which I would very much like to pull off over the course of Aussie winter... if I can get my hands on anything remotely similar.

That amazing pumpkin colour is, as announced several times on Twitter, my new favourite colour - though I'm yet to own any of it. And so, I was significantly depressed when this amazing shift dress sold out in my size (sad face).

My attitudes towards coloured faux-fur has certainly softened a little this season too... but that's still no excuse to look a giant grape.

Only a few more days to enter to win a DLC Brooklyn necklace valued at $169! Click HERE.

Junk Clothing Mesh Shoulder Top - Bardot Tutu Skirt - Generic Sheer Tights - Dr Martens 1460 8 Eye Boots in NAVY WORN - SpinDizzyFall Vintage Sunglasses

Some black and white fun to start the week - in terms of photography, I've been working on backlighting and clarity. Or as much as I can with a friend's camera anyway. Unfortunately (or thankfully... depends on how you're feeling today), only the first and last of this lot were successful. But I'm getting there :)

So much love for this mid-cropped top from Junk - the perfect gunmetal colour and the smoothy-smooth texture makes it the ideal pullover for anything in pretty much any season, not to mention the mesh shoulders. I'm thinking it would go fantastically with something high-waisted because of the crop - thoughts?

Particularly happy with that last shot :) I've now realised that glasses are so very PRADA-esque in terms of material and the shape is Chloé to say the least. I will definitely be pulling out the red lipstick and pigtails next time I wear these :p

A shout-out to the lovely Courtney and Brigitte for passing on a sweet blog award, which entails me listing three things I love about myself, with a picture I love:
  1. My love of blogging
  2. My wrists (weird)
  3. My self control (weirder - except when it involves icecream)
And my favourite picture is HERE. I'll be passing this on to Delightful Bitefuls, .themoonchild., salad of my life, The Space Boy, and tweet.

Hope you've all had a great start to the week?

P.S. I have some fun giveaways on the way :D and don't forget to enter the current one!

From Left to Right: Alexander Reptile Print Silk Dress - Chloé Heloise Leather Hobo Bag - HTC Studded Leather Belt - CASIO Calculator-Tele Watch - Mulberry Hayden Small Leather Wallet - TOPSHOP Pork Pie Straw Hat - TOPSHOP Leather Boots

It may be possible that I died when I saw the McQueen reptilian dress at Net-a-porter. I don't know about this collation - I'm in a very odd mood today and I think I just saw the McQueen dress and decided to mash it together with the exact opposite shoes to those insane Armadillos from SS10, and my current love of brown leather and brass.

One more day till the weekend - we can do it!

I am currently very much into mixing extremes of sophistication and the beaten-up or don't-mess-with-me... which some would say I would have a terrible time pulling off, but I like the idea of :)

I'm still on the hunt for "the perfect" one of so many things: heels, flats, boots, bag, blazer, rings... et cetera.

Any ideas to narrow the search?

Platform Nine.

So, again with the glorification of Nine. The Premiere was a little blinding - I don't think there has ever been such a brilliant star cast in any film... neither has any cast of this size been so immaculately styled down to the heels on their (amazing) shoes.
"It's just embarrassing to talk about this sort of cast," Marshall gushed. "They are all such unbelievable, amazing, talented women. Look! I'm blushing!" Even the notoriously gruff producer Harvey Weinstein was effusive. "You want to know who the film's biggest diva was? Judi Dench," he smiled. "To get her out of her trailer, we would have to leave a trail of diamonds to the set like bread crumbs."
I think I just got a bit more excited for this film.

After the Chloé show last week - staff running around outside with excessive numbers of amazing bags. Sigh... if only.

Chloé.

Chloé was just classic Chloé - simple and lovely. :) I loved the nude make up that only 15 year old supermodels can pull off.
