Bright eyes.

General Optical's SS11/12 showings definitely had me wanting Summer more than any of the swimwear showings did. Aside from the fact that I'm a die-hard fan of all things Fendi, Jil Sander, Michael Kors, new Bebe and Karl, I have to say that it was certainly refreshing to see some new and original shapes and shades. Far removed from the generic Rayban shape (or that's what we'll call it). I'm definitely in love with the matte finish on some of the Jil Sander pieces - be sure to check more out right HERE.

On top of that - how fantastic are those Fendi runway sunnies!?

Stop slouching.

YesStyle.com Pocket Blouse - Shilla Khaki Studded Harem Shorts - Swedish Hasbeens Skyhigh Clogs in Natural Leather from Solestruck.com - FENDI Vintage Sunglasses

No leaping around today :) In the few days I've owned them, I've gotten so precious about the flawless leather on these Swedish Hasbeens clogs (thanks to Solestruck.com) that I'll do nothing but walk in straight lines in them. As most of you know, I never did jump on the clog bandwagon while they stormed the runways last season, but these are so beautiful in their own right (and super comfortable at that). The light leather is such a dream for summer. Check out some other fantastic colours that played a decent part in softening my turned back to clogs HERE.

I was pretty glad that I found this door that was the same colour as these equally wonderful shorts lent to me by the wonderful girls of Shilla. It must be the day for breaking down past barriers, given that I haven't been an advocate of harems until I realised that shorts like these don't make legs look half their length like full length pants do. The combination of my favourite pale pastel-type colours, studded khaki and breezy slouch of top and bottom makes for a decent stroll down shady lanes. Be sure to keep up Shilla's adventures HERE.

How have all your weeks been? I've been on a depressing hunt for a formal dress for my formal coming up in less than a month (eep) - where each dress I fall in love with gets progressively more expensive than the last, the latest being this beauty. Sigh, any suggestions?

The buzzard thought.

From left to right: Ladyburd Assorted Makeup - RetroSuperFuture Basic Puma Sunglasses - Trend Boutique Fringe Cross Body Bag - Seventh Door Skeleton Key Connector Ring - Supré Stargate Printed Long Pants - Acne Atacoma Wedges - TOPSHOP Cutout Bustier - Guerlain KissKiss Lipstick in Orange Mambo

After Sara showed me this shot of Lara Bingle cruising around Sydney this afternoon, I was a bit inspired to mash up these wonderfully tortoise-shelled RetroSuperFuture sunnies with my new obsession with the Fendi SS11 makeup - Peter Phillips is god.

I'm also loving the wonderful print on these pants too - immediately open to mixing with other textures (namely the equally wonderful fringes of the clutch). Now that I'm looking at this collage, it looks pretty incoherent in the way I've arranged it all, but really if you picture it on some runway-stomping girl with a topknot bun of slightly frizzy hair, then you're on the right track. If not, I suggest you buy me everything pictured so I can show you :)

I guess I am a little behind the Acne eight ball in obsessing about these wedge boots now, but I really don't think they were obsessed about in the right context when the were being universally obsessed about earlier this year (if you can make any sense of that sentence, tell me and I'll do a victory dance). They look so much edgier with trousers like these, or tapered ones. Or pegleg ones. If you just wear them with a Little Black Dress, it's just like... black dress with cool shoes. I prefer WOW TROUSERS with WOW ATACOMAS.

I'm clearly very tired.

Off I go to sleep!

P.S. US and Canada lovelies, don't forget about the GIVEAWAY!

P.P.S. we the LG Bloggers have been very busy over at the LG Voice of Fashion Blog! So check out what we're screaming about HERE.

Marie Claire Italia February 2010.

This has to be my favourite editorial so far this year. The lighting is just amazing, and those sunbursts and bubbles make me want to fly to a European Summer and walk down the street in pretty things all day. But then again, I want to do that all the time :)

Photographer: Taki Bibelas, Model: Marlena Szoka. I haven't been able to find out who styled, but if anyone can, I'd love to know! I can't get enough of each shot's 'The' piece, surrounded by complementary ones. And now I shall list them because I love them so much (shots 1-5 respectively):

PRADA High-waisted Cropped Culottes - Alberta Ferretti Grosgrain Net Apron-Coat - Moschino Sunflower Print Minidress - Chanel Silk Petal Blouse - Fendi High-waisted Silk Twill Shorts

That's what I gathered from my limited Italian (zero) anyway - they may not be the actual product names, but that's how my combination of French and English and Mandarin (oh so useful in translation of Italian :D) churned it out to be!

Hope everyone's weekend has been awesome! What did you all get up to??

Kind on the eye.

Just some shoesies I really (really) wouldn't mind owning. Mark my words - some day they will be on my (currently non-existent) shoe wall.
