The buzzard thought.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

From left to right: Ladyburd Assorted Makeup - RetroSuperFuture Basic Puma Sunglasses - Trend Boutique Fringe Cross Body Bag - Seventh Door Skeleton Key Connector Ring - Supré Stargate Printed Long Pants - Acne Atacoma Wedges - TOPSHOP Cutout Bustier - Guerlain KissKiss Lipstick in Orange Mambo

After Sara showed me this shot of Lara Bingle cruising around Sydney this afternoon, I was a bit inspired to mash up these wonderfully tortoise-shelled RetroSuperFuture sunnies with my new obsession with the Fendi SS11 makeup - Peter Phillips is god.

I'm also loving the wonderful print on these pants too - immediately open to mixing with other textures (namely the equally wonderful fringes of the clutch). Now that I'm looking at this collage, it looks pretty incoherent in the way I've arranged it all, but really if you picture it on some runway-stomping girl with a topknot bun of slightly frizzy hair, then you're on the right track. If not, I suggest you buy me everything pictured so I can show you :)

I guess I am a little behind the Acne eight ball in obsessing about these wedge boots now, but I really don't think they were obsessed about in the right context when the were being universally obsessed about earlier this year (if you can make any sense of that sentence, tell me and I'll do a victory dance). They look so much edgier with trousers like these, or tapered ones. Or pegleg ones. If you just wear them with a Little Black Dress, it's just like... black dress with cool shoes. I prefer WOW TROUSERS with WOW ATACOMAS.

I'm clearly very tired.

Off I go to sleep!

P.S. US and Canada lovelies, don't forget about the GIVEAWAY!

P.P.S. we the LG Bloggers have been very busy over at the LG Voice of Fashion Blog! So check out what we're screaming about HERE.

Palette |ˈpalit| n. the range of colors used by a particular artist or in a particular picture.

YesStyle.com Double-button Long Blazer - ClubCouture Beige Chiffon Dress - Seventh Door Over the Knee Socks - Tony Bianco Dodge Boots in Ash Suede - Storm London Timeless Watch - La Dama Hand Chain

Looking a bit silly with my mouth open, most of the time, on my way home from dinner with the family, wearing my current favourite colour palette - I can never get enough of browns and nudes. This supremely comfy YesStyle.com blazer is a little more camel-coloured than the photos make it out to be, but the texture and cut are the main things I'm in love with. There'll definitely be enough breathing space to wear this over Summer, and the drapey pockets are hold a surprising number of necessities - my massive brick of a phone being the first. Second is my sweet ClubCouture chiffon that I can't wait to wear to absolute death in warmer weather - the back has a similar V-cut, and whenever there's a slight breeze, I always stand facing into it and watch the pretty layers float around all ethereally.

I received this wonderfully classic watch from the wonderful time travelers (aren't I funny) at Storm London, a few weeks ago and thought it layered really nicely with this hand chain in a bit of a hardware clash. I'll be trying to get lots of use out of this dear watch and these knee highs over the next couple of weeks too - the thought of having to part with my Winter clothing for a good 6 months makes me want to sit at home with all of it piled on my head. Like a giant hat of awesome.

It occurred to me the other day that I'm just constantly cycling the same pairs of shoes, that you all must be a bit bored of. I'm always talking about shoes. And showing you pictures of shoes I want... but I never get around to getting them. I might have to change that. Any ideas, keeping in mind that it'll be getting warm here soon?

Weirdly excited for Monday morning.

ClubCouture Diamond Back Shift Dress - Seventh Door Over The Knee Socks - Orbit Footwear Arrest Boots - Urban Originals Leader of the Band in Grey Denim

Before I admit that I did have to run inside and grab a jacket after taking these and before running down the road to Officeworks, I would just like to say that I love you all so very muchly, because:

BABY we hit 900 followers

I want to fly to all your respective countries and give you all hugs. I give good hugs. Get excited, if not slightly creeped out :)

With Spring just over a month away, I am dreaming of all those pretty things associated with pink lemonade and straw hats, where I shall definitely be wearing this pretty ClubCouture dress - despite it being black. And don't forget that ClubCouture is offering 15% off items storewide just for you (type in the code CCBLOG15 at checkout)!

These boots are also just the right glass of badass to wrap up winter, with a big shoutout and thank you to Holly Rayner of Orbit Footwear, whose shoes I am just a smidgen more than obsessed with (not to mention the kick-in-the-face rubber soles on these babies) - check out more of Orbit HERE and please prepare for a mammoth leap on your to-buy/to-drool list. Just saying :)

The bag, the bag, the amazing Leader of the Band in all its studded glory - one of the samples dear Samantha from UO let me borrow for purely happy purposes (see the other HERE and their impressive stocktake sale :O).

I could eat it. But I will refrain.

And to top off my seriously weird mood, my favourite knee highs

Back to my trip to Officeworks, which is completely irrelevant, but sit it out and you'll love me for it. Ages ago I found a pen in my locker that wasn't mine, and it was actually the most perfect pen of all time (important, considering the amount of writing I have to do in my upcoming exams). So it ran out this week, and I've been hunting for it with no success at all. I'm going to stop there. Cool story, Margaret. Shut up, Margaret. :)

Do pardon the sun going a little nuts - self-photography really doesn't go down well with that.

Hope you've all had a fantastic week - I feel like I'm about to tip over sideways.

P.S. only two more days to enter the giveaway!

P.P.S. The title of the post is completely unrelated to anything, except that my hair's getting longer - party party time.

Seventh Door Alternative Asymmetrical Pocket Tank - S&G Leather Jacket - Generic Sheer Tights - Seventh Door Over The Knee Socks - Tony Bianco Dodge Boots - Rubi Snuggle Scarf

This is what I wore to my two gorgeous friends' 18th dinner - and everyone, please have a moment before we all freak out that I'm wearing knee-highs over tights. It was cold. Very cold. For Sydney. One of these days, I'll be living in northern Russia or something, so I should probably get out of the habit of dressing like it's Spring when it's not. Though I do love it :)

There are two main things about this post. First is my experimentation with shutter speed and light - I've been playing around with both for a while now, and these are the best results I've gotten so far, which is a bit exciting! I also find it pretty strange how much light can change your face.

Second is this amazing tank/dress thanks to Carrie over at Seventh Door that has the coolest pockets I have ever had the pleasure of wearing - note to new readers: this is saying so so much given my obsession with dresses with pockets. Anything with pockets. The day I discovered pockets behind the pockets of my ski jacket two years ago was a good day. The magenta colour and awesome burnout detail makes it so easily transeasonal too - can't wait to wear this in months to come without the scarf and jacket!

Blank |blangk| adj. a surface or background unrelieved by decorative or other features.

Vintage Blazer - AL&ALICIA Angry Fembot Army Tee - Junk Clothing Jeans - Zoe Wittner Ursula Wedge - Rubi Snuggle Scarf - Seventh Door Chunky Gunmetal Bracelet - Bracelet from Puerto Jimenez, Costa Rica - Nightmarket Rings

As promised! And dressing according to the weather at last - I do have my limits :) This is what I wore out to dinner with my brother tonight. Good times.

These Junk jeans have that awesome-comfort level you wouldn't expect from skinny jeans - maybe jeggings (though I've never taken it upon myself to try a pair). The wash also makes them that much easier to pair with absolutely anything with any intention of dressing up or dressing down - evidently my faith in jeans has tripled in the past week and a half! Along with my love for this snood of mine.

Apologies for the image-heaviness - I have too much fun with my black-and-white :)

And who's loving my bracelet from Seventh Door (far right)? I've always wanted a basic, large-linked chain to go with the other assorted oddities that end up around my wrist. And guess what... you could win it in the giveaway! Among some other equally gorgeous choices to be had! So come and enter HERE.

P.S. Am I the last one to have watched the Glee season finale? And am I the only one who cried like a baby?
