Finally an outfit post! I've been wanting to share the pure awesome of these wide-leg EVIL TWIN babies from Market HQ for quite some time. Whenever I wear them out I make sure I take extra long steps and walk against the wind, regardless of whether I'm meant to be going in that direction. Wind tunnel escalators down into train stations are particularly entertaining - needless to say I had a ridiculous amount of fun snapping these for you all. The badass yellow and bold print definitely fueled that.

Despite the awful rain today, I'm hanging on to Summer for dear life... but I did end up having to tuck my top in to keep my tum warm - how depressing is that? The calendar says it's Autumn and BAM. Gross weather. A scrap of white polyester elastic-banded to the side of my lens does wonders to make rainy lanes look decent, though - I haven't played with obscuring the camera lens for a while now, but I quite like it here. Definitely playing with brighter fabric scraps in future!

Isn't my hair getting long! I need to find myself a hairdresser. Until then, I will happily hide in my hat and declare that it's for rain protection.

I wish I could wear these amazing Stylestalker matte sequins every day. For the rest of my life. Katie told me to say that... but in all seriousness: if mesh and sequins were day-time-acceptable on their own, this would be my staple. I've never really thought about combining gold and brown - it's entirely possible that there's an unwritten role against the combination, but I quite like how autumny it feels. Especially with the swishiness of the amazing YesStyle skirt.

See that? As soon as the yucky heat waves come on, I start wishing for Autumn :) And then Winter. I actually kind of wish I were in New York right now, and as soon as I get there, I'll wish I were in the Bahamas.

To match my sleepy eyes, I took to hippie-land today. In all honesty, none of these pieces on their own would have screamed hippie in any sense, but put together (plus a slightly overcast sunset before dinner), I think I did a pretty good job of convincing quiet-restaurant-goers that I was one of those sun-chasing teens with a guitar and a field as a backyard. Actually that might not be so false after all :p

Just as the slouchy top is perfect, I am a bit obsessed with the loud and sunny print of these pants. Aside from making up for the failed sunset, the pockets and outrageous comfort definitely speak louder than the colour. Plus the tones are (mildly) in check with the hessian on the amazing clutch from the talented Ariane Dutzi (who was just featured in VOGUE Mexico! Congratulations, lady!) that makes lack-of-hurry that much easier.

As you can see, my beloved Wittner wedges are also on their last legs. Hugest sad face ever. Any suggestions for a replacement? As much as it breaks my heart.

Covet Vintage Co. Silk Shirt - ANISE Maxi Dress as Skirt - ASOS Boyfriend Belt - Zoe Wittner Ursula Wedges

I got my mum to take some quick snaps of my hilariously pointless use of my ASOS belt that I haven't taken off since I got it last week - I have to say I'm in love with the weird loopy knot thing (if anyone even knows what I'm talking about :D). I had just been at the Bespoke PR showroom and met the wonderful girls there - I have some awesome photos to share with you all tomorrow, and despite my sleepy facial expression in Photo #1, I'm pretty excited :)

In the mean time, we can rest assured that I'll be living in this beloved Covet vintage shirt for the rest of summer, and that this new ensemble might be a bit of a favourite.

I didn't get a huge amount of sleep last night, so off I go to snooze it all back - my body clock is supremely out of whack!

Ezzentric Topz Vintage Dot Blouse - Glue Store Khaki Trousers - Zoe Wittner Wedges

I got bored, so I thought I'd try something fun with photo colouring. As a result, I discovered 500 things in Photoshop that I hadn't known before - probably creditted to me never using the thing.

I'm a huge amount obsessed with these fantastic pants from Glue Store - especially that they're slouchier towards the top and come in tighter around the calf area. And really, who can say no to khaki in Summer? I've seen at least 12 pairs online and around the place that I'd readily wear to death. I think I'll hoard them in a pretty box in the attic (I don't have an attic) and some day they'll be a source of supreme intrigue.

Evidently, a little dehydrated today.

I haven't pulled out this blouse for ages - I'd forgotten how perfect its semi-sheerness is. Irregular polkadots for the win - what's up with perfect polka dots anyway :)






Happy Friday everyone! Time to get into holiday spirit!! Stylestalker girls were getting stuck into Christmas Party plans today - needless to say, I'm ready for solid fun! What you guys doing this weekend?

As much as I'm not a fan of sitting in fields in what-I-wore-today (because let's face it - you clearly don't wear that to a field), I couldn't resist the amazing sunlight at about 5 in the evening, and the way it makes everything look super-focused, but dreamy at the same time. A lot like this amazingly sweet dress that the lovely Annika of Living Doll kindly lent me to share with you all. Isn't it just stunning? I could spin in it forever - the layering is that fine and perfect. Similar outlook goes for a lot of Living Doll's pieces! Take a look HERE.

The obvious accompanying choice would have been flats boots and a felt hat. So I tried my beloved wedges and my favourite feathered beauty that is getting a lot of wear (much to the entertainment of those who live on my street).





All Aussies and New Zealanders - can we hear a we love Summer!? December is getting so close and I still haven't managed to get my sorry self to Bondi - whoops.

Today was probably (certainly) not as sunny as yesterday, but I have to say it was a lot warmer.

You're going to have to forgive my preoccupation with black and white photography at the moment - it's probably the change in the weather... which also made it fitting to bust out these awesome Junk cargo shorts! They are wonderfully slouchy in fit and just as comfortable. The fantastic hardware (zip zippers) and double-layered cotton make them a lot more versatile too - if I weren't in such a ridiculously weird mood (equates to spinning around in fringes), they would have been perfect with some stripes on a tee.

I also find it kind of amusing how little I look in oversized sunnies and massive hair.






Aaah wedges with socks... I will see you again next autumn :)

A super fast post before I have to race to swim training - so sadly it's not mindblowingly exciting in any way, shape or form... apart from the fact that these are my new Zoe Wittner wedges that I wrote about last week! They are ridiculously comfortable and the patent leather is so nice to walk in and they're crazy lightweight... to stomp in. SO I shall be edgy-ing these up sooner or later.
