Casper & Pearl Lace Dress - NONE THE RICHER Blaze Necklace from Market HQ - Lime Crime Airborne Unicorn Lipstick from MakeUp Net

Casper the Ghost was intensely adorable but a little bit badass (and that one episode where he came back to life, I swore I'd marry him - so pretty), so naturally, when this absolute sweetheart of a dress turned up from the equally sweet Stacy (designer of Casper & Pearl), purple lipstick and chunky hardware were my initial reaction.

You definitely need to check out more of Stacy's design adorabilities too - right HERE.

As for the lipstick - if you're liking the pastel shades, you definitely need to keep your eye out for a bit of a giveaway very soon!

LOMOGRAPHY x Shine By Three.

So: I'm finally able to share this exciting project I've been working on in collaboration with LOMOGRAPHY (your favourite film photography go-to)! Over the next couple of weeks I'll be styling up my favourite Lomography pieces with bits of my own wardrobe and this is just a bit of a preview - a bit of fun to wrap up the weekend and start the week (yes, I start uni again this week... mega-sigh).

Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on the Facebook Page and on Twitter!

Scibble Scrap Two.

LimeCrime Lip Colour in Airborne Unicorn from Makeupnet

So you all quite enjoyed the last piece of Crayola attack I had on showcasing my favourite makeup, so here's my current favourite opaque purple lipstick - Limecrime as always. I still haven't had the guts (and/or impractical impulse) to wear it to uni (or any lipstick for that matter), but I've long since given up dressing down and will, at some point, forgo drinking from white cups for a day to happily parade my beloved Limecrime eyepop colours.

In the mean time, you have until Thursday to (quite easily) enter the wonderful PRETTY DOG Giveaway - a $169 DLC Brooklyn necklace up for grabs! Go get her.

P.S. For some it probably isn't a huge deal, but baby, just got to a happy 1000 followers on Twitter! Thank you all for the loving :)

Scribble Scrap One.

LimeCrime Eyelid Primer - LimeCrime Magic Dust in MEDUSA - LimeCrime Magic Dust in TWILIGHT from Makeupnet

Because I've had a lot of email and comment questions about my I snapped a little series of make up photos over the weekend and I thought it would be fun to post them one at a time over the space of a couple of weeks. I got a bit scribble happy to cheesily match my Limecrime appreciation (yum yum yum - particularly my first ever use of primer... I'm telling you now it really does make a difference and I will probably never go back). I had a bit of fun mixing this lilac and almost-black blue - I'd never really thought about pops of eye makeup colour as being subtle.

But there you go.

What do you guys think of eye makeup? Commandments? Handy tips?

Tweet me!

VeeChay Felt Hat - LimeCrime Retrofuturist Lipstick - Shilla Polkadot Dress

Just a heads up and in-advance apology for some potentially sporadic and/or mildly absent blogging this week! Trying to get my head around uni is fairly exhausting and I haven't had a chance to sit down and properly think things through before posting them, let alone pull out the tripod :) But, yes, in answer to your questions, I shall definitely share what I wear to lectures! Like a nerd! I've had my fair share of odd sideways glances, but the girl in front of me in line to buy a caramel chai latte (yumm) was wearing the same amazing Evil Twin skirt as me!

That was the highlight of my day.

Apart from spending the evening at the beautiful Mrs Press store in Paddington. But more on that later (i.e. once I find my camera cord)

I took this photo a couple of weeks ago - the VeeChay hat is probably the prettiest piece of something-to-put-on-my-head I own. The ribbon is teal and the flower is bright pink which I love. I'll have to wear it more often in a happy 1930s way once the cooler weather rolls in and head heat is a bit more precious. Speaking of which, Happy First Day of Autumn, Southern Hemispherers! So excited to bust out the knits and capes :)

P.S. shoutout to the lovely miss who came and said hi at uni today! Sorry I didn't get your name :) but see you round!

Nightcap Clothing Moonlight Dress - Olga Berg Clutch - Lime Crime My Beautiful Rocket Lip Colour - La Dama Hand Chain - ASOS Claw Ring - Tony Bianco Dodge Boots

A few weeks ago, Smirnoff asked me to share with you guys what I would wear to a girls' cocktails night, so to speak - but of course that was during my exams and I was in no shape or form to be awake past some baby hour of 8pm (probably not true, but the sentiment is there). And finally, tonight, I went out to a nice dinner with my mother and some family friends so contrary to any skin tight number you might be thinking of, here is me in my security blanket maxi.

Out of all the things in my wardrobe, this dress is probably the one I wear the most - oddly enough, I bought it for an occassion last year and have ended up wearing its simplicity to all sorts of things on the spectrum between late breakfasts down the road in Summer (I am so looking forward to that this year) to coiffed-hair type places (never fear, I don't do the coif). Same goes for the wonderful pow of this clutch. And for my experimentation with opposite colours! Yay orange lipstick.

I've been through phases of wearing only silver jewellery and only gold jewellery and every other weird colour under the sun, but at the moment, I think I'm stuck with silver. I've literally worn my new ASOS ring and La Dama chain three times in the past two days. Solid stuff.

Now that I'm writing this, I think I might actually recycle this entire ensemble for seeing friends tomorrow evening. How organised of me.

Thanks so much Smirnoff for asking me to share!

P.S. Do ignore my weird facial expressions - I'm paranoid about lipstick getting on teeth :)

P.P.S. I spent the morning shooting with the beautiful and talented Zanita, with results to come tomorrow, but HERE's a sneaky peek!

ANISE Macrame Tank - SCANLAN & THEODORE Highwaisted trousers - Tony Bianco Ash Suede Dodge Boots - LimeCrime Lipstick in My Beautiful Rocket

I've been waiting for the sun to come out for days to wear this beautiful ANISE top (thanks to the lovely Sophie!), because I absolutely refused to wear something so stunning in overcast weather. But of course, Sydney clouds hate me, so warm evenings before dinner are the next best thing. Don't you worry though - there will be plenty of sunny photos of this beautiful top floating around in Summery happiness in due time! When I go to put this top on, I always stare at the amazing knot-and-weave work for a good while and a half - it is actually mesmerising! And so perfect for the hot days that are coming up fast - as is the rest of the ANISE collection... if I haven't emphasised enough already.

To make this more dinner-appropriate, though, were the incredibly high waist of these beautiful SCANLAN & THEODORE pants that the beautiful Jes of HARLEQUIN'S PARTY so sweetly sent me (I love you! They are. Amazing). The waist makes for, as you can see, a pretty fun half-tucked-in sort of fun, which will probably come in handy when I start wearing them to death. I've always had a soft spot for high waists, but I never thought I'd love something so close to being bell-bottomed so much!

And I'm not sure if the colour has come through very well in these shots, but a burst of orange in my beloved Limecrime lipstick went so well with it all (have I told you before how durable this lipstick is? I swear none of it came off during dinner). I've decided that as long as it doesn't melt off my face during Summer (doesn't look like it will), I'll be wearing my Limecrime lip colours a lot more often! So keep a look out.

Move on over.

AL&ALICIA Meredith Dress - YDELTUYT Sunnies - We Love Colours Sheer Knee Highs in Teal - Rubi Lucy Boot - Lime Crime Lipstick in My Beautiful Rocket

Stealing the show today are these amazing sunnies from YDELTUYT - far far away in the Netherlands (I've always wanted to holiday there, but YDELTUYT makes up for that - clicky!). The gold frame is something I've never tried before, and I've come to the conclusion that I'm just a little in love. With pointed tips that are dipped a slightly different gold, there's nothing not to love here - and 100% UV protection is a plus... take it from an Aussie. I've played with a few different shapes of sunnies in preparation for Summer, and ironically, the weirdest and most wonderful (with a bit of A. Wang in mind) happened to make it to number one.

Next to the new vintage Fendi's of course :D

I can smell Summer. And I am insanely excited. So here's a deceptively simple little white dress by AL&ALICIA to celebrate (the pleats are so gorgeous). These We Love Colours socks are actually a bit more towards the green end of the spectrum than these shots show them to be, but either way, the weather now (starting to feel the heat!) is perfect to wear them - in their sheer glory. Before I left, I decided I felt a bit boring so just enough of My Beautiful Rocket to be the tiniest bit orange was a nice balancing act - tip of the century. When an outfit doesn't click, add something of the complete opposite colour. It always works. I swear.

On a bit of a depressing note though, my beloved bootsies appear to be slowing down to their last legs - despite my vehement denial that this is the case up until today when I discovered the hugest scratch on one of the heels (see below). I can wear platforms and ridiculous heels, wedges, and all other forms of shoe that I declare to be amazing, but I always come back to these favourites, so I'm thinking about how lost I'll be when they give up on me. Call me stupid for wearing them to absolute death, but who wouldn't when they're this amazing and versatile?

I need to find a new hairdresser. The past three have not been the best, and all I really want right now is a trim - not 5 inches hacked off, thank you very much! Any recommendations from Sydney-siders?

What happens.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

For the second time in two weeks, I really must be apologising for my missing a day (yesterday). I was exhausted due to all things ridiculous. One of those things was, however, really quite worth it - i.e. dear Sophie's Las Vegas themed 18th (she so old :O) that was awesome beyond words. Happy belated Birthday Miss Sophie :)

These photos were taken by the awesome Kath Mills, whose camera I need to be enquiring about. Don't you love film photography? Gotta love me some Black Jack and Roulette... supreme fluke land.

I guess this isn't an outfit as such, but I'm wearing my vintage fur (there were so many floating around that night - I spent a good half hour running around stroking them), my currently over-used black backless maxi, assorted bling as the high rollers do it, and the awesome Retrofuturist lipstick from Lime Crime that soldiered strong all night despite numerous straws and chewing ice. It's a tendency of mine - if there is ice, I chew it.

Having said all this, I swear I swear: outfit post tomorrow :) Get excited.

And if I haven't replied to your beautiful comments (which I know I haven't on oh so many occasions with a rapidly multiplying inbox count to show it), I still love you! I have somehow managed to become snowed under in life without actually having any deadlines. I'm talented like that.

What did you all get up to over the weekend?

Overexpose |ˌōvərikˈspōz| v. expose (film or a part of an image) for too long a time.

Fashops.com Pockets Poly Shorts - AL&ALICIA Alexa Pocket Silk Blouse in Snow - Vintage Taupe Blazer - Tony Bianco Dodge Boots - Lime Crime Cosmopop Lipstick

Two in a row! What is this!? :)

This is what I wore out to dinner to celebrate the end of my exams. A couple of things are different today. Firstly, these incredible camel shorts thanks to the lovely Monika of Fashops.com, that have officially made me ridiculously excited for Spring - the days are already getting a lot longer and hopefully, in the next couple of weeks, I'll be able to wear these high waisted beauties without tights. I know I say this every time, but the pockets really do make these shorts - especially with the boxy pleated shape happening, making it a little bit military, but on floaty soft fabric and perfect with my favourite AL&ALICIA blouse. Fashops has some other gorgeous pieces that should definitely be wardrobe staples, so check them out HERE.

Secondly, my lipstick which actually stayed on surprisingly well over dinner - Lime Crime, I am suitably impressed. This is the Cosmopop shade which, like hosiery, some would deem a no-go simply because it's lighter than my skintone, but the slightly peachy colour is too pretty to pass up for higher mercury up ahead.

And third, my hair is up for once. Boring. Nobody needed that pointed out :)

Sorry about the overexposedness again. Sunlight always works in theory and not always in practice. I think there's some skill required in picking the exact time of day and direction of sunlight to take a perfect shot... which I clearly don't have. I'll work on it - promise. With a bit more time, I'll also make a bigger effort to scout some locations that aren't walls and shady lanes.

The shorts get me every time.

Happy Friday 13th!

So bright, it's illegal.

SpinDizzyFall Vintage Sunglasses - Lime Crime Lipstick in 'Retrofuturist' - Junk Clothing Floral Cutout Dress

I've been searching for a perfect fire engine lipstick that doesn't look like plastic (as they tend to do), and this suitably eye-popping shade thanks to Erica over at Lime Crime has, thankfully, ended that search - one can only take so many testers in a day, and I do hate how makeup counter tissues fasten themselves to your lips and leave the equivalent of lint all over the place. Not cool. Lime Crime also has some other amazing colours for you to check out - warning that your eyes get a bit watery from impact :)

And what better way to celebrate this perfectly textured lipstick than to pull the PRADA SS10 that I've been meaning to do for a while - it was probably my favourite SS10 collection. Aside from Miu Miu's shoes. But they're all the same family anyway :) Nonetheless, I think I've captured the movement (with a bit of bonus mucking around) that I was so obsessed with in that campaign - next stop is to own those lucite shoes (... yeah right).

You're going to have to excuse my flicky-out layers that are 1) impossible to de-flick and 2) impossible to fake a fringe with, but I think the monochrome floral print and heart cutout on this Junk dress makes up for that. It's probably as close as I'm ever going to get to owning the amazing digital prints of that PRADA collection too, so that's always a plus!

Another thing to ignore are my slightly swollen cheeks - my wisdom teeth have chosen a really inconvenient time to start kicking my gums (yummeh) so it's a tad painful.
